The Alliance
for Human Services is pleased to present the Social
Services Master Plan (SSMP) 2005-2007 for Miami-Dade County:
Building a Livable Community for ALL. We
drafted this document to be a useful tool for you in your work
and in your lives. By bringing together the diverse groups in
Miami-Dade County to participate in the development of this plan,
we work to improve the quality of life and build a more sustainable
community. It is through this collaborative and comprehensive
planning process that we expand the power of innovative people
and their projects which exist in our community.
Our commitment
towards achieving and implementing the goals in this plan is steadfast.
The Alliance for Human Services recognizes that the success of
the plan depends upon a sustained cooperation among multiple public,
private, non-profit and business sector agencies as well as funders,
advocates, the faith community, and you.
The Social
Services Master Plan 2005-2007 for Miami-Dade County is 184 pages
in length and has many photos and graphs, making this document
a very large file. To make it easy to view online and download
to your computer we have broken it into the following 6 sections:

In addition,
with the assistance of its many partners, the Alliance for
Human Services researched, compiled and consulted many reference
materials to better inform the 2005-2007 SSMP. This

other reference materials for Miami-Dade County and the South
