Community
Planner to assist in the development/ implementation
of the Social Services Master Plan. Provide staff
support to committees, work closely with existing human
services planning entities, help organize and coordinate
community input/ participation process and staff support
to other workgroups established by the Alliance4HS. This
position will also be working on special projects related
to policy, disaster preparedness and events. Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in community planning or related
field and a minimum of three years experience required.
Salary $40,000+ Excellent oral and written
communication skills, strong interpersonal skills,
and ability to work effectively with the community
at large. Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel
and PowerPoint is essential. Bilingual/ bicultural

Disaster
Preparedness Systems Administrator. The Alliance
for Human Services, working in partnership with United
Way of Miami-Dade, Hands on Miami and VOAD, is seeking
to engage an individual and/or entity to provide services
in support of community-wide pre- and post-disaster
assessment activities. Utilizing
a customized pre-developed database, the administrator
would ensure that relevant pre- and post- disaster information
is entered in the system. The system administrator will
be responsible to provide training and technical assistance
to participant community-based organizations as well
as partner organizations who will utilize the data as
part of the disaster response and recovery system. Please
